Colours Available
Garment Printing and Embroidery
We personalise your workwear & hi-vis in SIX styles, to suit most requirements. These are :-
Economy Text
When price is paramount. Arial Black text, available in Black only, printed onto a transparent background. Unlimited characters and lines. Perfect for simple text prints. Most suitable for Hi-Vis Vests.
TIP : www.hivis.net recommends that you consider upgrading to Deluxe text - for not much more you get a much better finish. See below.
Deluxe Text
Very similar to above but a very high quality print finish and also available in a range of colours. This text is applied directly to the garment - therefore, unlike the Economy text print, does not have a transparent background. Best suited for Hi-Vis Workear. Can also be applied to Workwear, but we recommend for Workwear you consider Embroidery instead.
Multiple / Full Colour & Logos
BRAND NEW TECHNOLOGY. We are now able to print in full colour - and you will be impressed !
It is now possible to have a full colour photograph printed if you so wished. Perfect for corporate colour logos, where an exact match in colour and style is required. Also suitable for Safety Helmets. Image examples of full colour prints are shown opposite.
* Please note : Some logos contain fine detail, such as small text, and may have to be printed onto a white patch, and the whole patch applied to the garment (See Fox print shown opposite). We do this as standard proceedure if the logo is not suitable for printing without the background. If this is not suitable for you then you must contact us prior to placing your order to discuss alternative printing methods.
Night Glow Reflective Badges
The most expensive - but the safest. A two colour badge with glow in the dark properties, making the badge clearly visible during both daylight & night-time. This type of badge is only suitable for plain text.
Embroidered Text
High quality & ever lasting. Best suited to Workwear, such as Polos, Fleeces & Sweatshirts etc etc. Plain text only, available in various fonts & twelve standard colours.
Embroidered Logo
We can also easily digitise your logo, and reproduce it in high quality embroidery. This best suits Workwear, such as Polos, Fleeces & Sweatshirts.
Hard Hat printing
All Safety Helmets we supply come with a FREE sticker (if required). The sticker is not transparent, but will match the colour of the helmet as closely as possoble, and can contain any logo or text required. We can only apply the Stickers to the front of Helmets - due to the curvature of the item. Stickers cannot be applied to either side, or the rear, of Helmets. We also supply Safety Helmets with logos directly printed on them, if stickers do not suit your need, however there is a minimum order quantity of 40 pcs per order. Please contact us for prices.
TIP : Stickers look best on White Helmets.
Print Dimensions
We ensure your print is big, bold and can be seen by utilising as much of the printable area as possible. Below is a guide as to what size print to expect. This guide applies to Text & Colour prints only, as Reflective badges are only available in one pre-set size.
Rear Prints
Max print area not to exceed 250mm (h) x 250mm (w)
Lapel Prints
Max print area not to exceed 100mm (h) x 100mm (w)
Helmets Stickers
Max print area not to exceed 29mm (h) x 70mm (w)
Please note that the above are maximum print areas, and to keep the correct scale, & proportion, not all prints will be exactly to these dimensions.
Artwork
The finished print quality depends entirely on the quality of artwork supplied. We can accept most file formats, but for the best results .eps files are preferred. If you have not got an .eps file then please send other file formats in as larger size as possible, as enlarging small files usually distorts the image - and ultimately reduces quality !
How to order prints online
Whilst browsing our store, look out for items marked

These items, when added to your basket, will have the option to add a print if desired. To add a print, firstly put the required products into your basket - then view your basket. Each printable item in your basket will display 
. Click this to add a print to that item.
Repeat this for each item in you basket that you want printing.

Care Information
To help care for your printed items please follow the below guidelines:
- Can be washed up to 60°C (inside out)
- DO NOT dry clean
- Can be tumble dried
- Can be ironed (inside out)
Please note that any multi-layered prints cannot exceed 40°C for example our reflective badges
Copyright
Due to copyright law we are unable to print the following :-
- an image of, or the name or nickname of, a celebrity, a musician, an athlete, an entertainer, a member of the Royal Family, or other public figures; without their written permission.
- any image or any text protected by copyright where you are not the owner of the copyright, e.g. a still from a movie or a cartoon; without the owners written permission.
- an image of an individual unless you have the consent of that individual;
- an image of a person under 16 unless you have the consent of a parent or guardian of that person;
- a trade mark, a logo, a marketing slogan, a company name, a trading name, a brand name, any marketing material or an image of branded goods/services; unless you have the authority, or written permission to do so.
- offensive material, e.g. images or descriptions of violence or cruelty or antisocial behaviour, profanities or obscenities;
- an image of or text about weapons, or any terrorist or illegal groups;
- any other image which we decide is unsuitable for use.
